The hawkbill design is often used around salt water and as H1 steel seems to work so brilliantly in salt water and with serrations, is this not the perfect joining?

I wouldn't be surprised if Spyderco were already planning to switch the Harpy to H-1, assuming that the two Salts do well. Spyderco usually does a limited introduction for new tech, to verify their testing with the real world results and ELU acceptance.

I'm not a person, but I did think the same thing about the Merlin. Officer Fozzy suggested glow-in-the-dark FRN which would make it even better.

Well, if we keep bringing up how much we want to spend our money buying H1-steeled Merlins with glow-in-the-dark FRN, maybe we'll see the same success had by those who helped bring back a sprint run of the Calypso Jr.

I'm only two hours late in replying. Did you know that 25 day old girls develop crushes on Detective Briscoe from "Law & Order"? Me neither, so off to bed my most precious cargo was whisked!

What color "Glow in the dark" Merlins did you have in mind?

US cash is best, although we do have quite a few "Dinars" sent to us by appreciative soldiers in Iraq.

I think pale green would be the brightest, so that's what I'd want on a dark and stormy night or even a romp through the unlit part of the basement.
