Am I the only one who hates pocket clips?

If I use a clip it has to be in it's own pocket hands to big to fit otherwise.What works real good for me is a pair of Carhartt double panels with a clip knife in the pocket under the belt loop.A clip knife in the side pocket of carpenter style pants works good too.Turns sideways if not clipped very annoying.
