I know these replica knives are cheaply made but am I the only one who wants to own all the knives from the series?? Just to collect...

I never said they were good knives. I remember having one whenI was a kid with the hollowed out handle. I never said they were superior knives. I think I made that clear in my orginal post.
 
You received some honest feedback yet you seem disatisfied so I'm confused as to what it is you actually want from your original post. Do you literally want to know if you are the only one who wants or collects these things? 'Cause I don't think that's possible. It seems to me you are just looking for affirmation that others like them as much as you do, in which case you should just come out and say so for more positive responses. Just saying.

Just to add my. 02 cents worth, I'm not interested in them either for the same reasons stated above.
 
I'm sure you are not the only one. I don't want them, but they are not my taste. They look good from the pics, and you have already said that you know the materials are what they are......inexpensive. If planning to use them for a display or just to collect them, I think they would be fine. Just don't pick up one heading out the house when the Zombies attack!
 
I'm sure there are some people who collect those, but there probably aren't many who are also serious about knives. So since you're asking here, yes, you are pretty much the only one.
 
I an certain you're not the only one, or else they wouldn't be making them. They don't appeal to me though.

But if you love the movies and want a souvenir to hang on the wall, why not?
 
I always pause to look at them whenever I see an ad for them, I guess they're nostalgic for me. Every once in a while there's a moment where I think about buying one , but I don't think I would.

Since they keep making them I would say your not the only one that likes them.
I almost forgot...my wife likes them too .

Tsujigiri nailed it. OP is probably the only one on these forums who wants to collect these replicas.
 
I don't collect, but i think it's a cool idea - especially if you're "into" the movie. I remember when the 1st one came out - it got *everyone's* attention. The "survivalist" world went insane and exponentially grew almost overnight.

As said, the knives are cool looking and would make a neat display. Rock on!!!

ditto. ive been trying to cut back on knives that i wont use. i'm predisposed towards collecting and even to a degree hoarding. So having 4 big honking knives that i wont use and wont even go up in value is not very appealing so when they eventually lost appeal to me there would be no one to sell them to.

i can see why you would want them... but its not like you are trying to get an origional lile. that would be more up the alley of alot of people here.
 
I to collect knives. I have numerous custom and production knives. I do enjoy the movies and think they would be fun to own. Just for strictly looking at. Thanks for all you guys thoughts.
