Interesting... But I wonder why they are switching the babies? If you have a lactating mother tiger, and a lactating mother pig, what is the purpose of putting the babies on the opposite species to feed?
Perhaps the mother tiger is pretty smart and realizes that it's in her best interest to feed the piglets until they grow to a more "fulfilling" size? And maybe the tiger cubs are just getting an initial taste of Bacon for future reference?
My friend in Chino Valley Arizona (Uffds's neighbor) shot about five minutes of video of cow nursing a mule deer fawn. I was hoping he would put it up on Youtube but he is not comparer suave.
