Amazing Garage sale find! - Filipino Head Hunter Knife

It doesn't make any sense to go farting around with what seems to be a really neat piece of history, making new handles/sheaths for it or whatever, imho. It's got a very cool story and look to it; I'd put it on display, personally.

Besides, why would you want to knock this thing around, potentially ruining it, when any old run-of-the-mill machete will work better, cost a pitance, and doesn't have any kind of significance behind it? Sure it was 'made to be used', just like every other chunk of steel out there, but why knock around a knife with such a unique story behind it instead of trying to preserve it?
