A little while back I made a trade with forum member Boggs and in the process of trading with him we sent several Pm's back and forth we had a fairly long conversation in which I found out he had a 2011 Forum knife that I had been obsessing over for a fairly long time, I tried to trade him out of it and didn't really have anything he was interested in so I offered to buy it from him if he was interested in selling it but I would probably have to wait until January since my wife and I were in the final leg of adopting a child and Christmas just around the corner he said no problem we would revisit the knife later. To make a long drawn out story a touch shorter I received in the mail this morning a 2011 Forum knife that was perfect, Jim said it was my Dads shower gift, use it to open formula diapers or beer whatever was needed. I promised Jim that once little Izzy was old enough we would sit on a creek bank and fish, tell lies and use the knife to peel a few apples. I just wanted to post this to thank Jim for his amazing generosity and kindness. This is an amazing place full of amazing people. Thank you all for being who you are.

Congratulations on the upcoming adoption and also on the new knife. The people around here are a cut above normal and the kindness and generosity is just outstanding.

Too cool! Congrats on the incoming baby! Kids are a ton of work (some evenings you'll really need that beer opener) but they're a ton of fun too, and change your life and outlook in ways you can't imagine till you've gone down that road.

The generosity around this forum is unbelievable. I tried to explain some of the acts I have witnessed in my short stay here but most of the people I tell are doubters to say the least. Good Luck with the adoption and enjoy the joys of fatherhood!

Thank you sir the adoption process is one of the most stressful things I have ever done in my life, and most rewarding.

This one is our 3rd Mark, My oldest daughter is 18 my son is 12 and the youngest is 8 months, I really didn't miss early AM feedings and carrying a diaper bag everywhere, but when she smiles it will melt your heart. She has been with us as of December 1st.

Tis much at my household, you will always have a friend in Southwest Virginia so long as I am here.
