I recently aquired this with the intention of carrying and using it but it is big, and way too beautiful to use.

Lot's of detail on this one, check it out:

Stainless Integral liners & bolsters (eg: liners and bolsters are all one piece of steel). Either aged white Micarta or Ivory Micarta scales with 8 stainless pins. Beautiful engraving on front and rear bolster, along with detailed scrimshaw of a doe, buck and some leaves. No lock, it's a slip joint.

The quality of construction is as good as any knife I have ever owned or seen. There are no gaps in construction, everything metal is mirror polished including inside the liners and backspring. Blade is perfectly centered and opens with an amazing amount of snap.

This knife is HUGE. Closed length is right about 7", blade length is 5 5/8" tip to bolster, OAL is about 12 1/2".

Given its age, the knife is in mint condition with some very minor swirling on the front bolster of the non-decorated side, and some rub marks near the tang of the blade from being opened and closed a few times.

I believe the blade is 440c and it has it's original convex edge and is pretty darn sharp.

I have the makers price tag from 1980 (that I will include) when he sold it for $325.00, by using The Inflation Calculator that price works out to be $785.62 in todays money, but I think you'd be hard pressed to buy it for that amount.

This is a stunning piece that will look awesome in any collection. My pictures don't do it justice.

Price is the same as the makers original price - $325 shipped CONUS Reduced to $299 shipped!

Rather than just bore you with a price drop (;)), I figured I should add a comparative photo so you could see the scale of this knife better.

Here it is pictured with an NAA .22 Magnum and my tried and true Benchmade 710 (no... it's not a 705!)

Oh yeah, and I'll reduce the price to $299 shipped CONUS.
