I got this knife a short time ago and due to some "over spending" on my part at the Vegas show I'm going to let it go.
I actually talked to Mike at the show about this knife for quite a while. He told me he only made one like this and the hole pattern on the blade was fairly unique. The blade steel is ATS-34 and the frame is integral Nickle Silver. He did all of the engraving himself.
The action on this knife is one of the smoothest I have ever felt. The blade glides open by holding the spine just from the weight of the handle, that smoothness is not achieved by making the action loose, everything is nice and tight.
The spine of the knife is fully file worked from about 1" from the tip to about 1/4" past the lock release.
The stag scales are perfectly matched and fit perfectly into the arched and dovetailed integral bolsters.
The engraving on the tang of the blade reads "Whiskers 020191 ATS34" making this piece almost exactly 14 years old.
Blade length is 3.5" tip to bolster with a 2.75" cutting edge, making it perfect for choking up on when cutting. Closed length is just under 4.25".
Knife is mirror polished and in unused condition.
I can't say enough about this piece and promise you'll be happy with it, don't let the price fool you it's an amazing value and probably worth twice what I'm asking.
