Amazon Demko Armiger 4

I just ordered a Demko Armiger 4 from Amazon. I created the Amazon account just to buy it. I've never bought a knife from Amazon because of all the counterfeits. But, I've not heard of or seen any Amiger 4 counterfeits. What do you all think? Is it generally safe to buy knives from Amazon? I normally order direct from Demko, BHQ, DLT or Knife Center, but no one has the Black Clip Point Armiger 4 in stock except for Amazon sellers. I wish Demko would make more of these.

hit and miss with Amazon, even sold by shipped by Amazon. odds are in your favor of a real one, but I've seen fakes fly through there myself. that's why I don't use Amazon anymore. not worth the unknown of what will I get......
 
Haven't received a fake yet. I only buy from Amazon directly, or from sellers whose orders are fulfilled by Amazon; either makes returns a breeze if something is amiss.

How can you tell? I just go to amazon.com, log in, search for Demko Armiger 4 Clip Point and buy the first one that shows up. It seems Amazon pools all of them together. I cannot tell if my order is fulfilled by Amazon or not.

Depending on which Armiger model you select, the seller changes. Is that link fulfilled by Amazon?

And when you click on any links to an Armiger from the 'The Demko Amazon Store' it redirects to that generic link with different resellers.

It's sort of confusing.

Non-supporting dealer links aren't allowed on BF.

There's always a way on Amazon to tell who is fulfilling your order. Where that info is depends on your app/etc., but in a listing with multiple sellers it's always visible in some form. Look for "Ships from Amazon" (as opposed to "Ships from [X]") + the "FREE Returns" language near the price.
