Jim, another nice folder. i like this one with jigged bone the best so far.
maybe next one will be with elephant ivory ? PM me first eh ?
your fan man, roland

Roland thank you, I do have some elephant ivory from Alaska but I not sure of the quality
nor how to rate it so will ask around with some of my local knife friends.

Campbell, this is a neat jig pattern, those that saw it in the store before posting thought it looked like a snake or serpentine and here we have the Snake river.
Thanks to a BF member for directing me to the jigged bone handle material.

Mr "G" I appreciate your comments always.

Jim

Nice looking knife Jim.

This is strictly MY opinion and I mean no offense to your knifemaking, but I think the blade stamp letter size and lack of clarity detract from the overall appearance.

I was tempted to pull the trigger, but that is the reason I didn't.

Regards,
Peter

Peter,
That is the most difficult thing to show up in my photos. I have considered cold bluing the stencil mark for more contrast. Size I think is always an issue. I have seen them the size of a western belt buckle on down to signed inside.
