Hear it is my 3rd slip joint my first one with two blades I started it at the class that Gary House hosted and was lead by Mike Vagnino. Bill Burk and Tom Ferry also helped out. I took it home not finished that let me slow down and work on it at my own pace. I brought some of my damascus to spice it up a bit. Mike is a good teacher. I took one other class with Mike and I will take another if I get a chance yes I do think I can make one of these on my own now and will but Mike knows so many little tricks that you can't show them all in such a short time. amber stage was cut from a large Roll I got from AKS you can get 6 scales from one large roll enough to do one knife right as I learned the hard way. thanks Mike Gary Tom Bill and Chuck

This is your best folder yet IMO. Nice damascus and F&F. Pretty gutsy on the blade model.

Great job Dave - really like the damascus pattern here. It makes a big impression in a small space.

Thanks for the kind words. Bruce your right is is my best folder so far but I have only made 3. Roger I was very happy with how this damascus showed up on a small blade I have made big blades from the same bar and it looks good on a big blade I got lucky. the bar is just about gone maybe 1 big knife or two folders. no I think I will make one folder with all damascus. and be done with it.

Very nice Dave.
I like your moxie in tackling a two blade design and using damascus in just your third attempt.

This is what the steel looks like if I cut a thick slice off the bar and make a bigger blade.
