Hello to All,
Here is Vest bowie I just finished. Such a sweet little thing for sure. Hope you approve. Of course it has a bit of a Sheffield look. I feel a sort of a connection with Sheffield style. I have done quite a few of this style of blade on different handle designs in many sizes as well over the years.
Blade is 154CM .146 thick 1.062 high and 5.25 tip to guard. O/A is 9.625. Sub quenched 59 RC. Flat ground.
Guard is 416 stainless
Handle is stabilized Amboyna burl.
Sheath is 8-9 ounce leather. Hand tooled and hand stitched and holds knife securely even shaking upside down.
