ATS-34 with Amboyna handle. 3/16ths thick, the blade is approx 4" long with approx 8" OAL. Hollow ground with heat treat by Paul Bos. 416ss bolster with mosaic pin.
That is a very sweet looking piece. I like everything about it. Beautiful grinds - very slick ! the handle shape and canted bolsters. Those handles look "cute" too and the ball on the lanyard is a concept that works very well and I'm fond of that idea myself. That amboyna is amazing stuff. I got some recently and I could spend hours just staring into a piece ... Jason.
Jason,thanks. I bought a large chunk of amazing Amboyna a couple years ago on eBay. Something like 11"x5"x5" for around $200 and had it stabilized. It's my favorite burl wood. I stumbled onto the lanyard instructions a couple years ago and put them on any knife of mine that has a hole for it. The instructions are here
