Here is another knife design from one of our customers (I helped). Ken Fisher came up with the idea for this knife and we went back and forth perfecting the design. I really like this pattern, though this is a more conservative design than Ken's, it still captures the spirit of the knife and has all the qualities of a great worker and nice materials. I hope you like it.

This "Whisker" knife has a 3 1/2" blade (tip to handle wood) of hand-rubbed 1084 HC steel (differentially, multi-edge quenched) with an overall length of 7". The handle scales are stabilized Amboyna Burl wood with stainless steel handle bolts and an exposed lanyard. The knife also comes with a matching Amboyna Burl wood fob and a fully tooled leather pouch sheath by Tess.
Price, with leather sheath: $225.00, plus shipping.

Visa, MasterCard and Paypal are all fine and your satisfaction is always guaranteed.

J. I'm glad to see it sold in less than 12 hours!!! :) As you know, I'm very happy with mine! :D It was also great working with you on the knife, and Tess on the sheath. This was the first time I worked that closely with a Custom Knife Maker - it was a great experience.

I'm glad to hear it Ken, thank you for the idea. This is the same knife, though different wood & sheath, that will be in your "pass-around" deal.
(blatent plug for Ken).

This knife sold in less than 12 hours! And, the new owner is very happy with it. Anyone who thought about buying this knife, but was too late to get in on it - well, you have a second chance!! At least a chance to try one out for a week at ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGE!!!

In case you're not familiar with it, there is a Forum on BFC, called the Pass-Around Forum. You definitely have to check it out. Right now, I am organizing a pass-around for one of J. Neilson's "Whiskers" Here is a link to that Thread:

You owe it to yourself to check it out. Besides the one for the Whisker, there are many others going on. For instance, there's one for a large Sebenza, another for a Matt Cucchiara Poncho, as well as many for production knives like Spyderco's and Benchmade's. The majority are free for the asking, unless there's a "lotto" attached, and you have a chance to win the knife. So come on over and see what you have been missing. There's something for everyone.

Hope to see some new faces over there.

Ken
