Hmmm... that looks VERY familiar, similar an original Bob Angell design that I used to make. I called it a Vorpal 2A. Here is a Dawkins photo of it in both skeletonized and with micarta scales.

Regards

Tom Maringer

Mr. Maringer, Thanks for your critique, you are correct on designer and makers. It is a pattern I have admired for some time and finally got around to an attempt at it. I borrowed the design from Logos of the Loveless Legend, page 114. The only area I applied knurling was behind the upper guard for a good thumb grip. whether or not I make any more is unknown but for now I enjoyed the project.

i think its sweet,i think you did a great job.no critique from me,but im not a knifemaker,just a lover.

Hi Bob:
I don't have a copy of that Loveless book. Do you know if there's a photo of that Loveless version of this knife anywhere on the web? I only knew that he made one because Bob Angell told me, but I have not been able to look at it closely and see what design differences there might be. Thanks! Tom
