Hi folks, I have two sets of blocks, pictured below. The second set is flaming crotch 'sap' wood. Is where the white sap wood get tangled up in the crotch, cool and very different stuff. I have more walnut when these are sold, but don't really have time to sand and photo right now, just let me know if you're interested.

Blocks are 1" x 2" x 5"

First set of 4 blocks, $80 shipped. SOLD Thanks!

Don, if you have thicker blocks, with nice feather patterns, I'm interested.
Thank you,
Mitch

Mitch, I might have a few thick ones, will check in a bit.

Scott, I forgot to add that info, thanks for asking. size is 1"x 2"x 5"

Folks, If you think these aren't as highly figured as the other flaming crotch bocks, let me know. I might reduce the price. I only have 16-20 blocks this go around.

How durable is the sapwood compared to normal black walnut? Any special finishing requirements?

Dan, It seems to be as hard as the dark wood. My brother has used it a lot in his wood working and knife handles. It will finish same as regular walnut. I like to use tung oil, or boiled lindseed oil.
