You will want to remove the coating to see what the sword will really do, the coating acts like brakes when doing heavy cutting, Maybe Skunk will do a Side by side cutting test with his Criswell?

I honestly havnt fondled them much. I took the pics then put them back in the box they came in. They scare me.

I just picked mine up but won't be able to open it until tonight. The box was a lot lighter than I expected. Awesome

It definitely isn't a 1-hander, but it is a lot lighter than I expected. I would guess it's less than 10 oz heavier than an AK, maybe a lot less. It looks like a little less blade height, and fullers. I don't have a way to weigh mine.

It would be interesting to know though, crazy guess, I'd say 35-40 oz.
