$1900 start price for a knife that went for $400 and change just a few years ago - proof positive that Busse knives are better investment than buying any stocks on the Dow Jones !

In my opinion this Kensei is way over priced, what does he think 1900 is a good opening bid? I'd say the market price "IF" it is PERFECT condition to be more like between $1300 to $1600. I'd bet when it doesn't get a bid at $1900 that he brings the price down to a acceptable level.

Looks good, but even if the price comes WAY down, it's out of my range anyway. I have always thought those were cool though:D

I always wanted one of those, but i'm afraid that's either way over priced, or i'm just flat out never going to get one. :(

Yeah, I remember when those were new. I just couldn't seem to make that quantum investment leap of the 400 or 500 clams.

Yeah i remember when those were new. I have the small catalog that they shipped with my first order back in 1996. It was bad enough i was spending 247 on a SH2, 187 on a badger attack and 97 on a combat recruit, i could NEVER afford 587 for an american kensei........if only i'd just done it then.....

Hmmm...he actually sent me 2, so i have an extra i might be convinced to part with someday, i got 2 of the catalogs and 2 of the price lists. I think jerry was trying to tell me something back then, but i didn't listen. I'M LISTENING NOW JERRY!!

Be careful what he whispers in your ear. I think he's into magic or something. No knives should be this addictive, it has to be a spell :)

I'm starting to belive there must be crack mixed into the black blade coating or something.....;)

No. That can't be it. My SH1 is uncoated.
