it's about time we talk swords! did anybody order the newer infi sword?

Which one is the infi sword? I had seen that pic somewhere before and i thought the black and yellow wrapped one was an original american kensei without micarta grips just wrapped that way. I have never seen the longer sword before, is that a custom?
 
yes the longer one is custom, the wrapped one is a variant. the bottom one is one of the 7 protos shipped around for testing.:cool:

the infi sword is similar to the folder and will be released in a couple of weeks:)
 
Sweet, i'll just hold my breath for the folder, i'm sure it will be out soon......did that sound sarcastic enough? :D

Well to bring this thread back on topic, i'd really like to find an american kensei, but i agree with raden. I think it's way overpriced and i wish....scratch that.....i FORBID anyone to bid on it. That way he might lower the price and i might have a chance.

Is it bad form to contact someone on ebay about their item and tell them they might be asking too much, and possibly make them an offer if it doesn't sell?
 
here's what i do.

if it doesn't sell or the reserve is not met, then after the auction is over i email and make an offer.

it can't hurt to try... and you have your hog brethern behind you all the way!!

Seller dropped the price before this initial auction even ended. Down to $1750 for the starting bid.

No, I don't plan to bid on it at all but... he would do a lot better putting the initial bid in the 14-1500 range and going from there. Where it is, he's not going to get many (any) bidders.

I don't think it's bad form.....Matter of fact I did it as soon as I saw the auction:D :p
 
Hehe, nice move, are you actually interested in it? I thought you had one already. I don't suppose that makes any diffrence though. I haven't made up my mind if i want to try for it. I really don't need to spend the money atm as i am trying to get my credit cards paid off and save some $$ for blade west. It's just so tempting and i always wanted one.

I always wanted one too but... I couldn't justify the $500 price tag to the wife when they were new, and I'm nearly positive that there is no way in hell I can justify the current price tag to the wife today. I guess I'll just have to wait for the Skunk's fire sale..:rolleyes: :D
