American made fixed blade to raise funds for veterans Please share your thoughts

Whichever road you choose, I fully support this!

I love to see these things, and I honestly wish there were more knives that had profits going to charitable causes!

At this point I am going to wait on some responses with those we have already contacted and see what the samples from Randall King look like.

To be honest we would still really like to have something that's more ours than another brands but it could be that we need to grow towards that as we have not pay'ed our due's so to speak as a brand offering knives and that does take quite a bit of time to do.

So let me ask you this. If we do the Randall King supplied knife which would be a design done for our brand. With the CPMS35VN In choice of Blackwash and Flat Dark Earth. In both spear point tip and tanto tip. With our nice knife cases which the knife cases will actually cost us about $15 for each knife. Keeping in mind that 25% of the profit would go to vet's.

What price do you feel those knives should have? If we can hit that price whatever it is how fast do you think 200 would sell?

Also do you feel it would matter if we switched to say M390 for the steel?

Just an update we had hoped to have something to show this week. As of now it looks like it might be another week. Of interesting note I have gotten calls from Harris Publishing, and the folks that publish Sporting Classics expressing interest in the upcoming knives as well as our current and up-coming watches.

25% of the profit goes to veterans and the actual dollar amount depends on what the profit actually ends up being. We have donated funds to The Gary Sinise Foundation, and are also now raising funds for Mercury one for their Active Military and Veterans Support Fund Fund with funds being raised from the sale of watch straps and the ZeroTolerance knives we are offering.

For this knife effort we don't have a charity picked yet but Fisher House has been on our to do list. We tend to go with charities in which 80% or more goes to the core charity. With Sinise and Mercury 100% of funds they get go to the core charity.

The main reason we created our brand was to raise funds for veterans followed by providing work for fellow Americans buy having things done on the U.S. when we can. The more product we sell the more we can raise. =)

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate you gave a straight forward answer.
