After my swedish and french outdoor kit I finally got around at composing an USA made kit:

personally I think an American kit can't go without a large blade and the barktario quite excells at that. I don't own a small fixed usa blade yet but I think I can see an aurora in my future :)
besides the blade I very much like the rite in rain notebooks, the camelbak bottle is also very nice

Nice set up. :thumbup: I feel a mini-Homer is certainly as important as Hydration, and think you made a good choice on that particular Homer. ;) :D

Seriously though, some cordage might be nice. I tend to always find a use for it. I also like to carry a pack of Katadyn water purification tabs. They don't take up much room, but can really save your butt. ;)
