Hey everyone- I bought this grinder about 4 years ago and figured I owed it a review. The video is directed towards the new guy wanting to get into knife making, but may not have the 2-3 grand to drop on the on the stuff you full timers like to use like the Bader and KMGs. Let me preface this by saying Ive never used any other grinder so I have nothing to compare it to. I can also say that I never felt the need to seek another grinder, as this one does everything I need. I did a lot of research at the time and it was either build my own or buy one and start making knives. I bought it for around $1200 and it came with a single speed motor, work table, hollow grinding wheel, and platen. My skills advanced quicker than expected and I called AMK about three months later and upgraded to variable speed. Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions. Chris.
