Amsterdam Meet 2011 Report

My last Spyderco proto video this year, with a little help from Michael Janich himself, is of the Yojimbo 2.

Great video !
It's always a pleasure to have Michael explaining all the refinements in the designs !

Gorgeous EDC !!!

For me, the Yojimbo 2 is material for Spyderco of the Year! What a knife, what a knife! I hope it gets here a tad quicker than end of the year though...

Where can I get the red plastic tick in the display pics? I'm looking for that or something similar for my collection's display setup.

Tic? Tic? Tic! That is a spyder! Of all things...tic...sheesh. ;)

Edit - OK, it does look like a tic.

It manages to avoid giving the company a sinister image & makes ticks seem cute. When I was younger (late 90's) I had a Rosehair Tarantula in an aquarium & hid my girlfriend's Native I'd bought her in it's cage (I told her I'd hid a suprise present in our room). I must've had some hazy notion of a theme in mind. I thought it looked vaguely ad-like in there.

Sorry. Just got home after a loooong shift & can't bring this rant to any sort of point.

Have two of the Des Horn wharncliff folders on pre order. Hoping they ship this month. I'm not a liner lock fan, but these look sweet. Remind me of the Hammond CRKT folders from about ten years ago. Very nice pattern.
Just got through this whole thread. Went to High School with Mike Janich. We were in metal shop together. Mike was always a stand up guy...even when we were just kids. If I remember correctly....we both carried Gerber Mark I's back then. Glad to see him doing what he always loved and with the best company....Spyderco. Hi Mike! I'm gonna have to order one of these. Got one of his first designs MOD folder.
