I say it being fairly secure in the knowledge that Mike was being funny and it isn't really the case of course.

On a serious note though, I must caution that we temper our comments and interaction with the fine young women who are under the employ of Jerry. I say this because at my first Blade I witnessed what I can only call gratuitous arse grabbery upon the person of one of Jerry's employees by one of his customers. Now I didn't say something to the guy or Jerry because I was a new guy and just didn't feel it my place, well in retrospection that was wrong and I regret not having said something. I actually hadn't thought of it again until recently. I don't know if she said anything to Jerry or if he ever even knew about it, but the guy doesn't come around here anymore so I have to believe Jerry found out and he spoke his mind to the fellow.

Having fun is what this stuff is all about, but let us all remember that fun at the cost of someone's respect isn't cool nor will it be tolerated.

I think that Amy has become the subject of our poking and prodding due to her obvious fun-loving attitude and strong sense of humor. I agree that we may get close to the line with our comments at times, but they are just that, comments. I would have been really pissed if I witnessed any shenanigans like those observed by Progunner at Blade. That's unacceptable, period. Being playful is one thing, but acting like that is just plain wrong. I don't think our chit-chat here is in the same ballpark as that.

It was, on the surface, just a bit of playful banter, plus alcohol and one person's personality querks that led to what I described. So it isn't the banter itself that is truly harmful.
