I live in whitetail deer country and quite a few of my friends hunt these animals. When I go around to the deer hunting camps, something I see often, is an avid hunter, toting an 800 dollar gun, with a 20 dollar "import" knife strapped to his side. From a knife makers perspective I tell them I would rather shoot it with a 1 hundred dollar gun and then skin it with a 2 hundred dollar knife. A lot more fun and a lot less work.
