Here is an almost baby Banspati by Bura. It meansures 18 inches overall and weighs in at about 30 ounces. The knife is a 10/10 effort by Bura and the brass handle is excellently done and engraved. The thing that keeps this knife from being a full fledged Banspati is the lack of engraving on the blade.

Karda and chakma are typical Bura but not engraved.

Scabbard is excellently made by sarki with no name but not tooled. Frog is standard 100 year HI superfrog.

Why they did not engraved the blade or tool the scabbard on this Banspati is a mystery to me but it will save you $70 off regular.

We will deliver this perfect Bura Banspati to your door today for $125.

Call or email if interested.

Elucidate, please. Who imports ( or makes it here ) yak cheese? Is it on the net? What other Nepali soul food do they carry? They have a catalogue?

We import yak cheese when we can get it from Yangdu's place up in the Solu. I had a couple of pounds in stock here and our favorite lurker had sent me some very special cheeses from Wis so I decided that I had to retaliate. I don't think Nepali soul food is available anywhere but you might find some basics in NYC where there is a fairly large (by Nepali standards) Nepali population.

Uncle, save yourself some time & expense--just have all your shipments from BirGorkha sent directly to the lurker's house, and let him go through the whole pile and just send you the handful that he doesn't want.

Looks like if I want a UBDOTD, I'll have to special order one.

Jimmy, thanks for thinking of me, but I already have two nice Banspatis by Bura, one that has a lot of engraving and the other is a 15 incher that will eventually have more engraving done on it.

Bill,
I'm thinking on it! It's illegal to just "SHOOT HIM"isn't it! LOL!!SIGH!His poor Mom prob. wondered what to do with him also!
jim
PS- Wonder who Koz "TORMENTED" before ME??

Somehow the brass handles don't do it for me. I feel like the handle needs to be natural material such as horn/wood. Brass seems to block the khuk's soul from talking to me.

Bill,
After serious thought , it came to me, must have been "Devine Intervention",WHAT TO DO WITH Koz?? Simple, see to it that the "only" K's he recieves for the reat of the year are modern India's tourest K's!!Just "LOOKING OUT"for my buddy's interest!Sometimes I surprise myself, with my unselfish actions!
