An ambitious folder.

I reeaaallly want the black one. It's nice that it's made in Italy so shipping it to Bulgaria wouldn't be such a PITA any more. But I really want a black - any idea on the release date?

It is version vit aluminium handle? What is the price? Is it possible to order?

Can aluminum withstand repeated flexing like the titanium can? Isn't that kind of like making a spring out of aluminum?

The aluminium protos are build for make this test.
At this moment all protos in alluminium have not problem in flexing in time.

The Sr-1 with aluminium body are in production. They will be ready in November. The steel blade is D2. The color of the aluminium will be green and black. The blade will be satin or chimical's black.

I'd like to see a smaller SR-1 (3.5" blade) in titanium, bigger pocket clip and a pointier blade, hehe. The bigger clip helps improve the grippiness.

It is possible to purchase this aluminium version yet?
Where please? Does anybody know? Thank you.

The LionSteel site does not yet show the aluminum version, so I'm assuming that they are not yet available.

Well they're still not listed... but available, at least at certain dealers (having bought mine in the EU a few weeks ago). A really beautiful knife; I've already got my eye on a grey-Ti with Damasteel blade... (of course my bank account balance begs to differ... :thumbdn:)

Define positive.

There's probably at least (if not more) positive reviews out there as there are negatives.....
