Thanks folks... I know I chase after the old and archaic but hey, someone's gotta do it. Tobin; I make my guards out of "wagon wheel tyre iron". I have the free world's largest supply of the stuff. Its full of slag and imperfections; just like me. Kevin, if your ever in my neck of the woods let me know, we can have a mini hammer in. DanCo lives down the way but a mile from me.
