Greybush, I don't think its the orginal post that got him in trouble with the mods, it was what he changed it to afterwards that was considered sassing the mods.

Ahhhh
While I do not necessarily regret the original comment that I made (It was an attempt at ironic satire that wasnt as widely accepted as I had originally expected), I do wish to apologize for my response to the request to edit it. What the mods do here is a thankless job and with someone sassing like I did it only makes it harder on them.
I was going to apologize privately to him but I realized that what I did was a public embarrassment and warranted a public apology.
On a side note, this in no way is an excuse for my behavior; I have had a lot going on right now in my life. I wanted to make sure I apologized before I disappeared for a few days. Im going to be in Chicago getting ending a large chapter of my life and it isnt on the best of terms.
Well, now you know that most people here don't know how to read satire.
Just think how much worse the situation could be, though. You could be inviting the English to eat Irish babies.
But you know, I have heard that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled.
Satire has subtext. I'm not so sure about a point in the original post in question. Maybe... but still questionable.

There's too much stuff to know these days! I am constantly stepping into this quagmire. "Dude, no, I was quoting 'blahblahblah', you haven't seen/heard/read it?!"
