An Article in the NYT on Knife Rights

I wish I could carry an auto here in Missouri. We're allowed to collect autos according the state law but not carry them.

While the article may be a step in the right direction, it fails to point out that what the DA is doing is a deliberate criminal enterprise.

I'm reading opinions here that the NYT is "far left" and "one sided". I would agree most journalists working for the NYT are on the left side of the American political spectrum. Far left though? Didn't the NYT endorse the invasion of Iraq? How is that far left, exactly? But back to the point -- the paper should have had someone on the "knife rights" coverage, since the DA's actions in the Manhattan knife seizure could go to the US Supreme Court. The bigger story might be if it didn't get there. In the classic sense, knife rights issues in New York City are news.

Thats one of my complaints about US politics - the Middle/slightly left of center has been redefined as "FAR LEFT" while the Ultra Right has been redefined as slightly right of center. For example, Barney Frank, who passed the "ultra left" banking reform bill actually was paid off to the tune of 100's of thousands by wall street

What used to be middle/slightly left is now far left???
Ultra right slightly right of center???

More like what used to be far left is now middle/slightly left! What used to be ultra right is now considered much further to the right! We have a President who has a more liberal voting record than a self proclaimed Socialist!
