An Assortment of CutCo's

eric we have plenty of turkeys here in sc, and a few wild ones too!! i am gonna go on a "turkey beard" spree now, and if u are lucky, i may be able to shave a beard off this old biker here. he is letting his beard grow long(2 1/2ft now!!) so his wife can make some kinda chain or something out of it. i think i would just use a horse tail. in all seriousness, u have some beautiful knives!! send a few to me and i will make sure they get a good home!

Keeping this worthy thread alive, for us lovers of the oldies, here's a freshly "harvested" knife from Ebay;

Very nice one Charlie! I've been hunting one of those for a while. I took this cut co in trade a couple days ago.

Hey, nice whittler, MM. I know you appreciate the skill it takes to put one of those together!!

Beautiful knives MM and Charlie! That budding/pruning knife was their top of the line specialty knife at the time.

Eric

How do you know these things, Eric? It is nice to look at; I guess a prosperous farmer would like to show off something like that!

Well because it was their only budding AND pruning knife:D :D . Everything else was either a budding or pruning or grafting knife. This was the only one with two blades, not to mention bone scales and a shield. Actually, that top of the line comment was really all IMHO, which I meant to add to the post but got too ahead of myself. Thanks for asking the question Charlie, I need to pay a little more attention. (Although it's possible I might have been right:) ) In any case I like it a lot!

Eric

Oh, I see where you are coming from; I thought maybe you had a friend or a Grandpa who "been there, done that"!
When it's from the past, you have to fill in some of the story!!
