An Autumn Wander

Then there were lots of colors in and around the high grass.

Mist I think this is a spectacular shot. Not so much because of technical photography. I just love how it captures both a realness and yet conveys the abstract. This fall, I'm teaching a 2nd year general ecology course at my university. It has over 250 students. I look at your shot above and it just embodies - temperate grassland biome, a topic I teach in the early part of the course. I'd love to rip this photo and present it to my class next year as part of my lecture if you don't mind.

Sure Ken, you can use it if you like. I could email you the full sized file even if you like. It is 4.7 MB at 3872 x 2592.

Hey, if you ever see me post anything that looks like i was going for technical correctness how about pointing it out to me...I just snap pics of things that catch my eye :D

What a lovely day and such amazing pictures! Thank you for posting them :)

Thanks Andrew, glad you enjoyed them! I've been waiting on some autumn pics from your walks.

Great shots as usual knife living up to expectations? I'm assuming these were taken in ALA may be economically poor but awful rich in nature
