I am selling now as it has been replaced by a different kind of great flipper that is more of a size I can carry and use in the mixed company of knife users and sheeples in my work day.
THE HERON is simply an awesome knife but can be a bit intimidating and so I pass it on to be used and enjoyed by someone who doesn't need to be concerned by timid non-knife types.
Here are it's specs:
• 52100 Blade - HRC 58-60
• OAL - 9-3/8" 11/16" thick at the handle
• 4-3/8" blade length X 3/16" thick
• Titanium Liner lock
• Black Micarta scales & backspace
• AKS bearings
• Forged titanium lock & clip
• Knife will come with Origin Paper from the maker.
This is not a "refined" knife - in regards to fit and finish - no Shiro here - but it flips smooth and hard as easily and as much fun as with my Shiro for certain!!!
Right hand tip up carry.
Centering is perfect and lock up is solid.

A Kwaiken flipper from Chris Guay of Disposition Bladeworks called - THE HERON
This is a ONE of a KIND - no other of this model exists. Too bad really, it is a great one. Recently returned from the maker for a tuneup - so it is in excellent condition and nicely sharp.
