Well it is holding up remarkably well. I used the bolster to pop the lid off a small paint can with no ill effect. The shine has gone out of the bolsters and much of the blade and the edge has been dinged a couple of times. I loaned it to a coworker and it went AWOL for about half a day:mad: This upset me more than I would have guessed. I have grown attached to my little companion. Not an EDC but a regular yard-work knife and 50% EDC. The edge shows more wear than the pics would suggest. Generally it gets touched up on an Arkansas stone every week or so and never has had to be dramatically sharpened. The blade play (which I hated to even mention it is so slight) has not changed at all. I has been oiled one time since I started this thread and walks and talks with the best of them. This knife is really impressing me. So much so that I have ordered two more. One in tobacco bone with an acorn shield and one single blade in yellow with a federal shield.

Hi,

I'm glad to hear that you're still working that Barlow! I know the ones I have are holding up very well too. I really think they can stand on par with many other brands as users for many people.

Now if they'd just offer some plain carbon steel.
