The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
Do they cover that in the warranty?
I would suggest that, at least some of the time, this is simply because a lot of the people who buy really expensive customs or mid-techs don't work for a living.
Oh I'm not saying anything about the knives or people using them at all. I just wanna see some beat up expensive knives.BB I've got 15 knives in my edc rotation and 10 of them are in the $300 to $800 range.
I decided about 3 years ago no more safe queens (mostly). I went from over 65 knives at the time
to what I have now. I wanted to own and use some of the best knives out there and I have.
Now if I have a day of landscape work planned I don't grab the damascus Sebenza, I usually carry my M2 Grip or the Gayle Bradley.
This first pic is of my BG42 Sebenza right after I sharpenened it with my EP. You can't really tell it has much use on it but the next two pics from a different angle show the knife has been used many times.
Any way just remember buy what you like and like what you buy! It isn't a competition, enjoy your hobby.
