An idea for Beckerheads

I think it would interesting to see a world map (Google Earth or something similar) that would show Beckerhead locations worldwide (countries or even cities). What do you guys think?
 
Or perhaps just listing the city you live in. I don't have a good map JPEG to work with, but I know that Beckers have made it as far as Australia.

Yeah, I know...
But IMHO listing the cities is not the same visually as a world map would be. Perhaps somebody is able and willing to make a map like that, if it seems like a good idea. :confused:
 
Oh, think its a great idea, and I would love to see it, its just beyond my capabilities. Any takers on a Beckerhead mapmaker? Hey, that rhymed. I'm so goooooooood!!!:D

It might be a little much, but I could create some far-out maps. A good one would take some time, and I think my licenses for the GOOD software may have expired.

I'm pretty savvy with Google Earth. It's free, easy to use and can be updated regularly. I could likely put something together that could be updated regularly. It would be nice to see where everyone is, where outings have been and see the pics, where the Mothership is, etc., etc.

Let me know if anyone has some ideas. I can Geocode any address (assign latitude and longitude) and map it, but I imagine some of ya'll might not want your home address on a map. Zipcodes might be as specific as the map gets.
 
Sounds like a plan to me, lets just keep it to cities, or zips, I don't think it needs to be more specific than that. Let me know what I can do to help.

Just start listing your city and/or zip with Beckerhead number here until I get a map going in another thread that could be made into a sticky (that is if nobody else wants the job).

If you don't want to give your information, then don't. You simply won't be on the map.

this idea was tried with the RAT pack. it was quite cool...until someone went in and destroyed the whole thing :( my advice would be to have 1 person with the password to enter people in. good luck.
