the RAT pack had a map of its members awhile back. it was set up so people could add themselves (it would be daunting for one person to add 500+ people) so people just added themselves. it worked fine until an angry troll went in and deleted all the entries, at that point it was taken offline.

i was just saying that you should have one person take care of entering people to avoid this problem.

Do you know how this was being hosted? Was it using Google Earth? My plan was to use Google Earth and distribute the KML file regularly. I'm not aware of an interface that allows for user to add their own location.

The map has been published in a new thread. Going forward, I will only be checking that thread for additions.
