An Incredible Dagger From Sam Lurquin For Blade

Stunting, to say the least!
I'm not really into Daggers because it's so seldom you see something really unique and interesting, well
leave it up to Sam.

Amazing work from an amazing maker! Sam is one talented guy. That guard is just outstanding, but I am putting the damascus in the same category. Sam will have some stories to share at Blade about this one. :)

One cool dagger.

It is of course gorgeous. I have to ask though how thick is the steel on the hand guard? It looks a little thinner than I am used to seeing on that style.

that is excellent. Are there historical examples of daggers with the complex hand protection like that? It is a big step beyond a ring. very cool, either way. I just want to know if there were historical pieces like this.

Main Gauche, Sam Lurquin style.
Suberb dagger, damascus is exquisite as well.
Thanks for showing, Joe.

Like Doug C just posted Maine Gauche is the historical precedent. Translated I think to left hand dagger.

I would like to thank everyone for Sam for the kind words and well wishes

As many of you know Sam has already passed the performance part of his MS test under the eyes of Jason Knight so we will all have our fingers crossed for his upcoming test at Blade

This is truly going to be an Epic Blade and I can't wait to see you all

Incredible looking dagger.
I like how the end of the fuller is shaped and compliments the plunge lines.

I saw the title with Sam Lurquin and Dagger, and I knew it was going to be something insane; no idea what to expect though. I think at first glance my eyes almost popped out of their sockets!
