An informal comparison- bowie & khukri

I got the chance to try out the khukri again, and this time it did work much better. The coon was already wounded when my blow opened him up pretty good. The cut certainly felt different than before. I think I'll be keeping the polished edge on it from now on.
 
Interesting results. On another note, me being a city boy, its funny to me how no one has reacted strongly to what you did. I personally don't think anything of it, but I can just imagine the reactions of other people who arent quite aquainted with the outdoors and general hunting.

BTW not a flame at all, you see pests and you have to get rid of them, why not test out the blades?

Imagine you and Bob were about 12 years old and in the city doing the same thing. Do you think casual "uneducated" onlookers would think you both were serial killers in the making?
