I have a funny habit of not introducing myself to people as I assume they don't care anyway. But what I find in these forums, in particular the traditional forum is a lot of respectful and respectable interaction. This is something I have really grown to appreciate. As such I'd like to introduce myself as a life long knife user and a relatively new collector (under a year). I was once a bartender in Manhattan for about six years. I really love to know the history of things and whisky was my muse for quite a long time. There is a lot of history on alcohol. I've been sober now for eight years this month and have finally found an interest that holds just as much rich and interesting history in traditional folding knives. So thanks for putting up with me so far.
I know you guys like pics so here is a couple of a Queen peanut I found today in some things I inherited from my grandpa after he passed.
I believe the scales are derlin and yes there are halfstops.
