This clipped point blade is a good size for the up coming hunting season and also makes a great bushcraft knife. It is ground from 3/16 inch thick 1095 carbon steel and heat treated by selectively heating the edge to a critical non-magnetic temperature and quenching in light oil. The blade is tempered at 400 degrees to produce an edge hardness of about 61 RC while the spine remains softer and very tough. Round and triangle files are used to add file work to knifes spine giving the blade a little touch of class. Nicely figured Koa wood scales was selected and loveless bolts with epoxy used to fasten them to the knifes full tang with brass lined lanyard hole. An 8/9 ounce tooled leather pouch sheath with an integral belt loop comes with the knife.

SPECS:
Steel: 3/16" thick 1095
Blade: 4.25" long tip to wood and bright but not mirror finished with file worked spine.
Overall Length 9"
Handle: Koa wood scales on the knifes full tang.
Sheath: Brown leather pouch with right hand carry belt loop.

SOLD Price: $120 + $7 shipping

I purchased a paracord handled Nessmuk from you back in May and am very glad that I did. The grind is great and it came to me hair-popping sharp. I sincerely doubt that one could find a better knife at the ~$50 price point.

The clip point that you are currently selling looks spectacular! It is great to see you starting to make handles out of something other than paracord, and the overall design of this knife is very cool. I am sure that whoever gets this knife will be more than satisfied with their purchase. I know that I am extremely satisfied with mine!

Recieved the knife in the mail yesterday, again, this thing is beautiful, and also again, thank you for it. One thing I didn't notice from the pictures (it IS noticable from one of them, but you have to be eagle-eyed or know what you're looking for to see it) is a bit of a hamon line running along about 1/2" away from the edge. I can also see a slight shade difference on either side of the line, though it doesn't seem to affect the reflectiveness of the polish any. Did you use clay tempering on this knife?
