Ah, Well that is good information to know, about allowing emails. It took me so long to figure that out that I went ahead and upgraded so I could get PMs, then as i was coming back there was the choice for allowing emails. LOL. oh well, definately intended to upgrade anyways so worked out just great

Now you need to go upgrade yourself or as Karda explained to me show your colors. There's a place in your options called Paid Memberships, you just select whatever level you signed up for. It doesn't happen on it's own.
The beauty of PM's is they stay between sender and recipient, visitor messages I believe are open to everyone which is ok by me as I never say anything inappropriate or distasteful.

Thread drift happens Don't sweat it. While the boards ARE a source of factual information, I feel that the posting should be more like a conversation between a group of friends. The topic ebbs and flows and reverses. If it gets too off kilter, we'll just pop it over here. As long as it's not breaking any BFC rules, it's not a big deal I have said it SO many times, but you folks make this just about the easiest forum in the world to moderate.
