yeah, it is surprisingly pretty light like I said, This is pre-edge. [I think there is a hollow (saber?) grind in there somewhere]. And how about sharpening the swedge (or is that a no-no?)
I'd like to find one of those... All I can dig up locally are poor Pakistani or Chinese copies. Nice knife, it'll look good with the rust gone and put back into use.

FWIW, mine has a scotch bright finish.
You have to look up the Bill Bagwell mods yourself.
They include bobbing the guard, lowering the spine and sharpening the clip.
My father (as it is his knife technically) is against bobbing the guard, but i like the scotch brite finish. I will try that out. I will also see if i can slimm the grip a little and refinish the chipped pommel.
akadave2, the knife is 14 3/4'' long with the blade being 9 1/2" of it. I cannot find out the weight so when I get home I will try to weigh mine and I will post the weight.
