I made this knife several years ago and it's been in storage ever since. I just ran across it and thought, "Someone should be using this". So here it is.
It's one of the first blades I ever forged, and I tested it extensively at the time. It did very well. :) I just checked the edge on it, and there is a bare patch on each arm and a slightly elevated heart rate to attest to the fact that it is scary sharp. :D

I'm selling it as-is, which means that there are a few spots on the blade, (which you can see in the pics), and the guard is not as refined and graceful as my current work. Also, the blade has a satin bead blasted finish.

However, it's perfectly usable, and I hope whoever gets it, does so.

The sheath is also an early attempt, but was not as successful as the knife. ;) If you throw it away and have someone make you a nice one, you won't hurt my feelings. Or, for an extra $45, I'll make you a better one.

Steel: 5160, forged.

Hardness: Probably around 59 RC

Blade length: 8-5/16" recurved

Total length: 13-13/16"

Blade thickness: 7/32"

Handle material: black canvas micarta

Price: $250 + $11 shipping

I can take paypal, check, or MO. Please send corrospondence and paypal to phillip@pattonblades.com
