This is one of the first 10 knives I forged, back in '05. I believe the blade was differentially hardened and triple quenched. The blade now has a Lauer duracoat finish. The fit and finish is not quite up to my current standards, but it's certainly good enough for a beater knife. The handle is full tang. Fitting these guards was a real pain.
This is the 99th knife I made, FWIW.
Steel: 5160
Hardness: 58-60 RC
Blade length: 10-3/8"
Total length: about 16"
Blade thickness: 1/4"
Handle material: Green canvas micarta
Price: $400 + $11 shipping
I can take paypal, check, or MO. Please send correspondence and paypal to phillip@pattonblades.com
Sorry, no sheath. I have one, but it's extremely ugly. If you want one, I'll have to make it, and it'll be $50 more.
Thanks for looking!
