Beautiful! Did you use tung oil as the finish, love the depth and I’m just seeing a picture, I’ll bet it really glows in person.

It would be hard to clearly convey how much I enjoy a project like this. This blade is a rare one, and as I understand things, it really shouldn't be out in the wild. It is, and that's water under the bridge. But it's a very interesting project to me for this very reason. A LOT of trust is placed on me to put this together and I am very grateful that someone would have the confidence to let me do a set of pinned and epoxied scales on this 1-off blade. Projects like this are very humbling and very rewarding to me personally.

I believe you just scaled the only CPK to escape the compound without slabs attached. Thanks for letting us walk through the project with you, there was never a worry my friend.
