Hey guys!

So I was talking to my dad today about my Kershaw Skyline about how it's like every time I'm in a situation where I really need a knife, it's the one I have. Or how any time I go somewhere of an extended period of time, it's my go to knife. We also talked about how the mine was perfect for me, and how I don't have any complaints about a single aspect of it. I got on the forums today just to see what was new and I started to read the threads about people's Grail knives. While I was reading these I started to think about that conversation I had earlier with my dad. Everyone's got a Grail knife it seems, and unbeknownst to me, mine was the Skyline, and while I was talking to my dad about it, I realized I was actually talking about my Grail. So I'm courious, has anyone else bought a knife not realizing it would end up being a favorite, or like it ended up for me a Grail? Exited to hear what y'all got to say!!! :)

My problem is I think the "next" knife will be my Grail knife...until my eye gets caught by some new, shiny sharp thing. I'm a faithless bastid, lol

For me there is no such thing as a "grail" knife. Just knives that I want. I have a bunch of knives and I like them all for various reasons, from the most expensive to the cheapest priced. I might get equally enamored with a budget priced knife as I would a high end expensive knife if it has features I like.

It was my zt 0562. But then I bought a spyderco military, not expecting to love it as much, I like it even more than my zt.

I picked up my Lone Wolf T2 because it had been something that I wanted, but I was sure that there was no way that it was going to displace my Fantoni as my absolutely favorite forever knife. The T2 absolutely did. It is my favorite knife that I just love to pieces, and it has pushed everything else out of my pocket (except on days where a modern folder is not appropriate).

That would have to be my hk soldat thought I'd hate it but it's my go to knife prob because I lik n680 and 90

The closest I have come so far would be my spyderco techno. I love it way more than I expected and I edc it more than my other knives.
