Got my grandfathers folder this weekend from my father. I'm very happy for the knife and the fact tat i takes a god edge and that everything mechanical works smooth just makes it better.

I've always been fascinated by those barrel knives. That one is a treasure, made all the more valuable because of its family history. Congrats!

Do you have any memories of your grandfather using that knife? Was he the first owner, or did he receive it from an older family member as you and your father did?

I'd love to know what happened to my grandfather's pen knife, I remember him sitting on the porch peeling and cutting apples with it when I was around 6 years old. All us kids hung around to get an apple slice
