Glad everyone is safe. It is stories like this that remind me and my wife why we have our CPLs. We carry in the house too on occasion. Part for safety, part to get use to carrying various size handguns in different fashions. IWB, OWB, appendix carry, etc. We also don't have kids, so carrying and putting our guns on our nightstands (not in them) are the norm for us.
We lock our doors at all times, but if we forget, Petey & Pauly the pitbulls (brothers!) would not take kindly to a stranger walking in the front door.
