George, I will swing by around 3:30 to 4:00PM. I'm always ready for another
adventure with the honorary mayor of New Bedford!
We can go to Home Depot where the women run up to me and give me kisses. :D

IG, Is your shop city hall? Never met a mayor, honorary or not. How far are you from Home Depot? Actually I live next door to the self appointed mayor of Orrient........

My house is 8 blocks from cityhall it is the annex. :D Home Depot is near the motels I told you about.
Grasshoppa and I got your 200# of chain and another 100# for me. We also found another source for it. The owner from the Mattapoisett Boatyard was there buying the same chain. He told me that he has tons of chain but in larger links and that he would sell it to me. He said that his father calls it Swedish Steel.

I'd be interested in seeing the other chain. Maybe while I'm out you way we can take a look. Maybe I'll just put the chain on the plane and walk back home.....

IG, you check for the postage and expenses is on the way. Again I sure appreciate you doing this for me!

Maybe I can hitch a ride with the star ship Enterprize. Maybe they can beam me home......

The only time I've been out your way my dad drove from San Diego and then back. Believe it was in 1952. I could hardly stand it then, it would kill me now......

Beaver; I have more like 400#  We can make a sissy bar for your rat bike out of it. :D

Where's my chain! It's been almost a day since I mailed that hot chec......Whoa, better start over here: Hi IG, the check went out yesterday, and I'm looking forward to receiving the nice links within the next few weeks. Has anyone taken a photo of a cross section of the stuff? Would be interesting to see if the grain stands out like it seems to on the outside. doesn't matter to me, I want it even if it doesn't.

IG, not enough HP on the rat to haul both me and the chain around  That means NO more chain on the bike, only ones I need are the Primary and Drive chains :D

Rob; Grasshoppa sanded and polished the outside of one. It was left out in the open smithy and is getting rusty. I have to take a pic. You can see the grain.

Hey I.G. just wanted to check in. If you will be around in the a.m. I'll drop by with the antler and leg bones, we can see what we can do with them. The blower arrived today, I expect the rest of the stuff we need for the forge to show up next Monday or Tuesday. Maybe next weekend we can finish the forge and the tutorial for Mr Ellis. :D

Jay: I'll be here. I took the grill apart so pickup some half brick and plywood. It will work out well with the sideburner to heat up the oil. You will need a manifold and quick connects too. That way we can get all the plumbing done.
